TASK WIZARD EARLY ACCESS SOFTWARE LICENSE Version 1.0.0 — August 24, 2026 Publisher: Stacking4Storms, Ontario, Canada Contact: social@stacking4storms.ca 1. LICENSE After a valid purchase or owner authorization, Stacking4Storms grants the named customer a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Task Wizard on the number of computers authorized by the issued license key. A device-bound replacement key may be issued by Stacking4Storms when reasonably required. 2. OWNERSHIP Task Wizard is licensed, not sold. Stacking4Storms retains all ownership and intellectual-property rights in the software, branding, source code, updates, and documentation. The customer may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish, or share the software or license key, or remove or bypass its licensing controls, except where applicable law expressly permits an action that cannot be restricted by contract. 3. EARLY ACCESS This is early-access software. Features may change, and defects may remain. Updates, future online identification services, and compatibility with every Windows configuration are not guaranteed unless a separate written offer says otherwise. 4. PROCESS GUIDANCE — NOT ANTIVIRUS Task Wizard is a Windows process identification and decision-support tool. It is not antivirus, anti-malware, or professional security software. Its labels are guidance, not a guarantee that a process is safe, unsafe, malicious, or always appropriate to stop. Unknown processes remain marked for caution. The customer is responsible for reviewing explanations, saving work, and deciding whether to close an application. 5. PROCESS ACTIONS Process actions are locked at the start of each session. Task Wizard requests graceful termination only after the user reviews and confirms the selected process. Critical Windows processes are blocked. Some processes cannot be inspected or closed because of Windows permissions. 6. PRIVACY The early-access release reads local Windows process information necessary to provide its functions. It does not include advertising, analytics, cloud process uploads, or automatic online identification. The separate Privacy Notice installed with the software provides additional detail. 7. ACCEPTABLE USE The customer may not use Task Wizard to interfere with another person's computer, evade security controls, or violate applicable law. 8. WARRANTY AND LIABILITY To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Task Wizard is provided as-is and as-available without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Stacking4Storms is not responsible for lost unsaved work, interrupted applications, or damage caused by ignoring warnings or closing the wrong process. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law. 9. TERMINATION This license ends if the customer materially violates these terms. Upon termination, the customer must stop using and uninstall Task Wizard. Sections concerning ownership, restrictions, and liability survive termination. 10. GOVERNING LAW These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply where the customer lives. By installing or activating Task Wizard, the customer confirms acceptance of these terms. Copyright 2026 Stacking4Storms. All rights reserved.
